Cerys joined Churchill Hui in 2022, becoming a Director in 2023. She is an Architect, RIBA Client Advisor and Development Manager with experience across the whole lifecycle of development, both in the private and public sector. She has robust knowledge of regeneration, new build construction, building regulations and planning policy, and introduced some of the first net zero carbon (NZC) homes in the borough of a particular brownfield redevelopment project.
Cerys relishes problem solving and is passionate about the provision and delivery of well-designed and sustainable affordable housing. She leads multiple long-term regeneration projects with client and contractor stakeholders, focusing on partnering and collaboration. Her strategic approach encompasses advice on quality, procurement, programming, risk management and sustainability to optimise return on investment and placemaking. Cerys has an excellent success rate of achieving planning on difficult sites, listed buildings and in conservation areas.
After graduating from University of Southampton in 2002, Cerys studied BA (Hons) in Architecture at the University of Brighton, and Dip Arch (Architecture) and MA Professional Practice (Architecture) at the University of Portsmouth. She previously worked at Clarion Housing Group and Antler Homes.
