As 2020 draws to a close, three of Churchill Hui’s Project Managers are celebrating completion of various professional qualifications. We would like to extend congratulations to:

Rob Parish, achieving a distinction in his MSc in International Project Management
Sonia Rodrigues, passing her BSc In Quantity Surveying
Barney Wellings, passing his APC, becoming a Chartered Member of RICS

All three have studied diligently alongside working full-time in their roles at Churchill Hui, in what has been a particularly challenging year. Faced with the impact of lockdowns, site closures, unprecedented industry changes and remote working, they have continued to excel in their roles whilst studying and preparing for assessments.

Rob Parish MEng MSc was awarded his MSc in International Project Management from Glasgow Caledonian University, choosing to write his dissertation on smart cities.

Sonia Rodrigues BSc studied via distance learning over the last three and a half years whilst fulfilling her full-time role as Project Manager and seeing a number of projects through to successful completion.

Following completion of his Masters in Building Surveying course at the College of Estate Management, a RICS accredited degree, Barney Wellings MSc M RICS completed his 24-month structured training. He then successfully passed his APC interview to become chartered.

Churchill Hui Director Claire Crook says: “We are immensely proud of Rob, Sonia and Barney. Studying whilst working demands dedication and motivation, even more so in 2020 when collaboration has mostly been virtual. To achieve such great results is commendable. We look forward to celebrating properly in 2021 when hopefully social distancing rules will be relaxed.
